MailAgent

Email-to-case-state system for KDM/mail operations and supervised next actions.

MailAgent / SUSY reconstructs fragmented mailbox traffic into cases, evidence, context packets, proposals and approval boundaries without uncontrolled autonomous sending.

What it is

Case-centric operational infrastructure, not a generic email assistant.

Who it serves

Operators who need evidence, state and approval continuity.

Boundary

No uncontrolled sending; sensitive process logic stays private.

MailAgent is a case-centric operational system for KDM and mail workflows. It does not write emails faster and it does not send autonomously: it turns raw mailbox traffic into structured operational state that an operator can inspect, correct and approve.

MailAgent is an operational coordination layer for asynchronous case handling under real production pressure. It turns fragmented messages, reports, repeated cases and external system checks into structured workflow state — cases with timelines, known facts, overrides, evidence and next actions — so operators stop reconstructing the same situation from threads and memory.

The Context Packet is the reasoning boundary: one bounded, source-aware object carrying the current case. Fresh validated data outranks stale summaries; operator overrides stay visible; ambiguity is surfaced as state, not buried. SUSY is the field-facing operational track around MailAgent and VisionAgent in the current KDM context; MailAgent remains the email-to-case and proposal/approval architecture. MailAgent is operational and actively used; its current deployment context is Susy KDM, developed in collaboration with ReelOne S.r.l.

  • Cases, not threads: every operational request becomes inspectable state with timeline and evidence.
  • Context packets: bounded, source-aware reasoning objects instead of scattered UI fields.
  • Report-grounded source of truth: every value knows where it came from.
  • Repeated cases inherit validated memory instead of restarting from zero.
  • Human-supervised by design: ambiguity escalates to the operator, corrections stay explicit.
  • Coordinates VisionAgent for bounded execution in fragile legacy environments.

Case architecture

From mailbox traffic to case state

MailAgent starts with raw operational email, but the target is not a cleaner inbox. The system normalizes messages, connects threads, detects KDM-related cases and builds a bounded Context Packet with known facts, source evidence, overrides, timeline and next-action state.

The visual shows why the project is case infrastructure rather than a mail assistant: each email becomes part of a supervised operational record that can be searched, reviewed and resumed.

Operator control

SUSY keeps approval in the loop

SUSY is the local operational assistant/runtime shell around MailAgent. It can prepare bounded proposals and surface ambiguity, but the operator keeps control over decisions that matter.

This distinction is central: MailAgent may reconstruct evidence and stage a proposal; it must not become uncontrolled autonomous sending. The cockpit view exists to make approval, correction and escalation visible.

Runtime visibility

Search, status and operational monitoring

The system remains useful only if the operator can inspect what it knows and what it is doing. Search controls, ingest state, AI runtime, indexed mail and template status are part of the operating surface, not afterthoughts.

These views show MailAgent as infrastructure for continuity: cases stay searchable, runtime state stays visible and fragile workflow steps can be diagnosed before they become silent errors.
