Virtual Production Tools
Field toolkit for LED volume, realtime media and virtual production workflows.
Virtual Production Tools collects KRD field research and tooling around media servers, tracking, color/science and camera-facing production ambiguity.
Field practice and toolkit, not a fake product wrapper.
Real sets create ambiguity generic software does not solve.
Production-specific observations and runbooks stay private.
Virtual Production Tools collects KRD research and tooling around physical on-set virtual production: LED volume operation, realtime graphics, media servers, tracking discipline, camera-facing constraints, color/science-aware workflow and calibration-aware production practice.
The work is field-driven. These tools exist because real sets, real cameras, real walls and real departments create ambiguity that generic software does not resolve by itself. KRD's focus is the practical bridge layer: operator clarity, media-server coordination, color/science-aware workflows and procedures that make camera, wall, tracking, content and production teams share the same operational picture.
- LED volume operation and realtime media-server workflows.
- Camera-to-wall constraints: what the camera sees, what the wall emits and what the operator can safely control.
- Tracking discipline for practical on-set systems, including state, calibration, handoff and failure visibility.
- Color/science-aware procedures that keep calibration, content and camera response in the same conversation.
- Operator tools that reduce ambiguity between production, camera, graphics, playback and technical departments.
